The hotel's rooms were not ready upon arrival but once settled, I found them impressive with updated finishes, quartz countertops, USB ports, outlets for phone charging, a large TV, mini-fridge, and convenient wifi. The location was in walking distance to all other casino/hotels in Black Hawk, which was a nice feature, though the surroundings didn't offer much for gambling or dining. The service had a mix of helpful and unhelpful encounters, including a wake-up call at 9 am, well before checkout time.
I had a pleasant stay overall. The rooms at their older 'sister' property across the street were nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, but the size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. The service was courteous and polite, though I did overhear loud conversation outside my room. The hotel's location was good and convenient for exploring Black Hawk. Dining was a bit pricey for my liking, but the facilities were satisfactory.
